You can connect an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to Freshmint, then ask it about your events or have it do work in Freshmint for you.
Get your server address
Open Settings > Connected apps and select How to connect your AI assistant. Copy Your Freshmint server URL. Every assistant asks for this address.
Connect
Claude (web and desktop)
- In Claude, open Settings and go to Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector and paste the server URL.
- Sign in with Freshmint when asked.
Claude Code Copy the command shown on the setup page, run it in your terminal, then type /mcp in Claude Code to sign in.
ChatGPT
- Open Settings and look for Apps or Connectors. You may need to turn on developer mode.
- Add a new connector and paste the server URL.
- Sign in with Freshmint when asked.
Cursor and other MCP clients Add a remote MCP server using the server URL, then sign in with Freshmint when your client asks.
What it can do
- Look up your events, attendees, sponsors and contacts
- Create and update events, guest lists, tags and settings
It acts as you, and can do only what your own Freshmint role already allows. It is never an admin you are not.
Try asking: "Show me my upcoming events and how many people have confirmed for each", or "Create a VIP dinner in NYC on Nov 12 for 30 people".
What it can never do
- Send custom emails or blasts to your attendees
- Remove attendees from an event
- Delete contacts
- Cancel or delete events
- Manage your team or their roles
- Touch billing or your subscription
See and revoke access
Settings > Connected apps lists every assistant you have connected and when it was last used. Select Revoke to cut one off.
Organization admins also see their colleagues' connections, and can turn AI connections off for the whole organization. That also turns off Copilot.
