Freshmint AI emails

The five emails Freshmint writes and schedules for every event, and how to review, change or turn them off.

Every event gets a set of emails to its confirmed attendees, written by Freshmint from your event's details. They go out on a schedule and update themselves when the event changes. You read them over, change anything you like, or turn them off.

The five emails

EmailSendsWhat it does
1 week before7 days before the startReminds attendees what the event is and why it is worth their time
24 hours beforeThe day beforeAsks attendees to confirm they are still coming, with one tap
2 hours before2 hours before the startThe day-of details they need to get there
Feedback request24 hours after the endAsks how it went, and whether they want to keep the conversation going with any of the organizations involved
Feedback follow-up36 hours after the endA short nudge, only to people who have not answered

They go to Confirmed attendees, and the two after the event also go to those who Checked In. Times are in the event's own timezone. If an event is created less than a week out, any email whose time has already passed is skipped.

Replies go to the primary host's email address.

Turned on for you

AI emails are on for every new event, including duplicates. Freshmint writes them within about a minute of publishing. Find them on the event's Notifications tab.

Read them over

Open an email to read it. You can:

  • Edit it yourself.
  • Rewrite it: say what should change, for example "warmer", "half as long" or "mention it's black tie".
  • Preview: email yourself a copy to see exactly what attendees will receive.
  • Delete it if you do not want that one sent.

Rewrite all changes every unsent email at once, from one instruction about how they should read.

When your event changes

When you change the date, time, venue or other details, or a new co-host or sponsor joins, Freshmint rewrites the unsent emails to match and tells you on the Notifications tab. Emails already sent are not changed.

One-tap answers

The 24 hours before email asks Will you be there? Attendees answer Yes, I'll be there or I can't make it. A no releases their seat, so you can offer it to someone on the waitlist. You see how many said yes and how many seats were released.

See how they did

For each sent email you see how many were sent, delivered and opened, and select the count to see who it reached. Opens are undercounted, because some mail apps block the tracking that counts them.

Turn them off

Turn off the switch on the AI emails card and confirm. Unsent AI emails are removed. Emails already sent stay in the history. Turn the switch back on to write a fresh set.

Who can manage them

The primary host, members of the primary host's organization, and confirmed co-hosts. Sponsors cannot see or change event emails.
