You can keep editing an event while it is Active or Live. Open it and select Edit, make your changes, then Publish again.
Who can edit
The primary host, members of the primary host's organization, and confirmed co-hosts can edit the event. Sponsors cannot.
When attendees are told
If you change the date, time or location, Freshmint shows which fields changed and how many people will be emailed before you publish. Confirmed attendees and confirmed hosts receive an update with the new details for their calendar.
Other changes, such as the description or the cover, save without emailing anyone.
Your AI emails are rewritten to match the new details. Emails already sent are not changed.
If someone else edited at the same time
If a co-host saved changes while you were editing, Freshmint tells you before you overwrite them. You can reload to see their version, or overwrite it with yours.
After the event
Once an event is Complete or Canceled, it is read only.
Common questions
Can I change the event link? No. The short link stays the same for the life of the event, so links you have shared keep working.
Can I change the timezone? Yes, from the date and time settings. If the venue is in a different timezone, Freshmint asks which to use. Your times stay as you entered them.
