Co-hosts and sponsors

Getting started as a co-host or sponsor

You have been invited to someone else's event. Here is what to do first.

Someone invited your organization to co-host or sponsor an event on Freshmint. This is free, and takes a few minutes.

1. Accept the invitation

Open the link in your invitation email. You see the event and the host's sponsor package: what you receive, what is expected, and the budget ask. Select I'm Interested, add a note for the host if you like, and sign in or create a free account with the email the invitation was sent to.

2. Set up your organization

Add your organization's name and logo. Your logo appears on the event page once you are confirmed, so the host and attendees know who is involved. See Set up your organization.

3. Wait for the host to confirm you

The host approves your request. You get an email when they do, with a calendar invite. Until then, you can see the event but not manage it.

4. Share your link

Once confirmed, open the event, select Share, and choose Copy event link. Every registration through your link is credited to you and your organization. See Share links and attribution.

What you can do

It depends on your role. Co-hosts run the event alongside the primary host. Sponsors manage the guest list and check-in and see analytics. See Co-hosts and sponsors: what each role can do.

Common questions

Do I need to pay? No. Co-hosting and sponsoring are free, and you can host your own events on the Free plan too.

How do I decline? Open the invitation link and choose Decline, or simply do not respond.

I was confirmed but want to step back. Tell the primary host, or open the event's sponsor view and change your response.
